We live in a wonderful world full of so many fabulous destinations to see and experience. I created this blog so that I can share with you my thoughts and travel experiences. "Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers... the mind can never break off from the journey." -Author Unknown

Family Travel Options
Each day that passes by I learn something new about cruise lines, resorts, etc. There are truly so many options out there that it can make your head spin. Family travel is not only popular, it is a necessity. "Getting Away" from the real world as a family is so important these days. Life can wear us all out. The days, weeks, and months pass us by way too quickly. The memories that are created during a family vacation are priceless. Families truly need that precious time together.
So when a family comes to me and says they would like to get away for a while, where do I send them? The great part about my job is that there are options.........the bad part, there are too many options. So I focus in and find the perfect fit for them. Are they looking at an All-Inclusive Resort? Here are two that immediately jump out at me:
Azul Hotels, by Karisma
Barcelo Hotels & Resorts
Disney Cruise Line
Royal Caribbean
Norwegian Cruise Line
Long story short, there are so many options out there for family vacations. Whether your kids are young, teens, or even young adults..........I will find the perfect match for you!

Why Use a Travel Professional?
Part of my job here at Cruise Holidays of Kansas City is Business Development. I am constantly at networking gatherings and other events where I mingle with many other people. One of the top questions I receive is about why should people book their trips through me and not on the internet. There are a lot of great reasons and believe me, I am well prepared to answer that question!
I was flipping through the 2012 Disney Cruise Line brochure and came across a nice little reason as to why Disney believes in using Travel Professionals. I love having Disney on our side! Here is what they say:
Why Use a Travel Agent?
They're Experts. Working with a Travel Agent saves you time and effort. They're your insider connection. Knowledgeable and informed, they're your professional advocate---able to adapt and customize every aspect of your vacation plans. They're experienced vacation designers who can provide tips and information you may not have considered. They can guide you through travel rules and regulations and are always synched-in to keep you up-to-date on travel alerts and other news.
So there you go.........according to Disney I am an expert who is your advocate. One of the things they do not mention is that if something does go wrong on your trip, I am right there to assist you, along with my entire office. When you book online you do not have that support. It can be scary!
Until next time...........Happy Travels!
