Travel Builds Great Relationships

When I started this new career just over a year ago I knew it would be very good to me and my family.  I guess I just did not know how good it would be.  I go out each day and search for new group travel opportunities.  This has allowed me to meet such a wide variety of people in the Kansas City area and beyond.  My new career has really opened some wonderful doors for me and allowed me to meet some very high quality individuals.

One of my newest hot spots for group travel is Branson, Missouri.  I have been blessed to organize a group opportunity with The Hughes Brothers.  This is the largest performing family in the WORLD!  I have been to 3 of their shows over the past couple of months and each time I am there I appreciate them more and more.  They have such huge hearts and they put on one heck of an entertaining show.  Last night they held their VIP Night at the theatre and it was a packed house!  I was there to help promote their cruise.  I had a great evening and once again walked away feeling so blessed to be working with such a great family.

If you are familiar with this show, then you know exactly what I am talking about.  If you have not seen these guys perform click on the link above to see their show calendar.  We are already making plans to attend one of their award winning Christmas Shows.

The cruise I am referring to can be found here (and below):  Cruise with The Hughes.   It is going to be a fabulous 7 Night Western Caribbean Cruise on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas.  The Hughes Brothers will be performing on the ship and we will also have numerous entertaining activities for you while aboard.  The entire family wants to make this an unforgettable trip for all of those in the group.

I look forward to continuing my relationship with The Hughes Brothers as well as continue to find more wonderful contacts as I grow my business.  I am blessed..................Happy Travels!

Alaska & the Yukon Recap...........

My father and I just returned from an amazing cruise tour through Alaska and the Yukon.  We traveled with Holland America on a Familiarization Trip (FAM).  First off I must give props to Holland America.  They treated us so well.  The trip was so smooth from start to finish!  I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience they provided for us.  I did a cruise tour review yesterday and gave them the highest marks possible.

Alaska..........there are so many words that can describe this awe inspiring land.  I will just say that being up there in Alaska and the Yukon makes you feel so small.........when you are in the middle of Tombstone Territorial Park, Denali National Park, or frankly almost anywhere up there, and you look around, you realize how big of a world we live in.  You are constantly surrounded by mountains, valleys, trees, Fireweed (the official flower of the Yukon, but found all over Alaska), streams, rivers, wildlife, and so much more.  I planned on reading some books while on the trains and buses but I found myself staring out of the windows for hours at a time.  I could not take my eyes off of the constant scenery.

We cruised out of Vancouver and ended up disembarking in Skagway.  That is where our land journey began.  We ended up staying in Whitehorse & Dawson City (both in the Yukon territory of Canada), Tok, Fairbanks, Denali, then Anchorage.  At each stop we experienced something special.

So many memories were created during the 2 weeks of this trip.  My dad and I were truly blessed to have experienced this together.  Here are only a few pics that I took.  I have more pictures of the wildlife that my dad took with his camera.  Once I have availability to those I will make sure to post them.  Here you go:
